When I came across this quote today it really gave me a chuckle. It also got me thinking about the importance of forgiveness. All of us at some point have been hurt by the actions or words of another. You may have discovered a friend gossiping behind your back or your mother perhaps made damning remarks on your parenting skills or someone may even go so far as making up untruths about you to hurt you. The actions of another can leave you with feelings of anger, resentment and even vengeance. But here’s the thing, if you don’t practice forgiveness, you may be the one who pays the price in the long run. Those feelings of anger and resentment are harming you more than anyone.

I have experienced someone close to me speaking untruths behind my back. This person  shared some very personal events that had occurred in my life. They twisted the events and added their own spin on what had actually happened.  At first I was angry. Then I was hurt. Then I wanted revenge. Then I was angry again. A few hours later I came out the other side feeling compassion and empathy for the person that had attacked me. This doesn’t mean that I am denying that this person hurt me or that I’m taking away the responsibility that must lay with this person – it simply means that I choose to forgive. And ya know what….as soon as I shifted to forgiveness I instantly felt a whole lot better! I instantly felt lighter, happier and more at peace with myself.

Be The Demonstration Of Success

There’s no greater service that one can provide than to be the demonstration as to what is possible. As human beings we gain confidence in our own ability to perform when we see others achieving what it is that we ourselves have the desire to achieve.

“Well if he can do it, whose to say I can’t too!”

The evidence of another persons success gives us wings. We’ve all heard what happened when Roger Bannister became the first man to run a mile in less than 4 minutes. The very next month the record was broken. Many men then went on to achieve what once was believed to be impossible.

I feel tremendously blessed to be surrounded by on purpose individuals. The distributors which are a part of my company, Polaris Global, demonstrate to me every day of what is possible. Belinda Byfield comes to mind. She’s a mum of three young kids & when she started her journey here as an entrepreneur only 12 months ago she couldn’t even send an email. Her confidence in her ability was so low that she couldn’t take a step out her front door without her mum being there as a crutch.

Fast forward just 12 months and Belinda is an incredibly competent and powerful business owner. She’s mastered Social Media marketing. She’s confident, capable & self reliant. She’s growing and developing a successful global business, leading her organization with grace and dignity. She’s earned as much as $20,000 USD in a single month. Leads On Demand With Social Media Marketing

It amazes me how creative people can be. The Advanced BuzzZing Social Media Marketers in my company recently underwent the task of creating short marketing video’s to upload on Youtube. It’s important to note that most of them had never created a video before yet they undertook the project with gusto! (is that a word? Yeah, I’m pretty sure)

Peter from Townsville created the below video. It’s really, really great! He used the ANIMOTO program to create it. And this from a guy who tells me his tech knowledge is very limited. Go Pete!

Youtube is a terrific platform in which to generate inquiry for your business. Within 1 Day of this video being up, Peter generated 5 leads. Not bad going for such a short time on the air. People love watching video’s! Did you know that 200 Million Video’s are watched on YouTube every single day. Whoza! That’s a remarkable number!

Here’s a few tips when creating your video.
1. Keep it short and sweet. Around 1-3 minutes is best.
2. Keep it light! Not too serious!
3. Make sure you add your website throughout the video so your viewers can inquire with you.
4. Add the appropriate “tags” or key words that you’d like to be found under.

Distributors at Polaris Global are BuzzZing

Every day I’m receiving more and more messages from excited Polaris Global business owners who have taken their lead generation to a new level.
I received this message today: “I am very excited to say I have 15 BuzzZing leads come in over the weekend woo hoo” Paul & Alison Brisbane.
This is such a significant result. BuzzZing allows you to learn how to generate leads FOR FREE using the various social media platforms. To generate free leads allows one to build an incredible business at an affordable rate and Polaris Global teaches it’s distributors how to become a Social Media Master within a very short space of time.
Now to put this into perspective for you, there have been times throughout my journey when I have paid as much as $100 for a single lead. At this rate, 15 leads was costing me $1500. I simply couldn’t afford to sustain my marketing campaign at this hefty cost. Thank goodness the face of marketing was about to take a turn.
Welcome Social Media & it has changed the face of marketing forever. It’s not a matter of whether you choose to add social media to your marketing strategy, it’s how well you choose to do it.

What’s all the Buzz About at Polaris Global?

I’m excited to say that our BuzzZing Social Media Training has now been launched to the public. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the success of our BuzzZing training. It’s so great to see a project come together and with such tremendous results.

Since officially launching our new BuzzZing website just a couple of days ago I have been inundated with messages of gratitude from those who have been introduced to BuzzZing over the weekend. People sharing with me that they have received tremendous value from the BuzzZing training and even an instant boost in inquiry.

I received this message from Fraser who owns Simply Healthy out of the UK;
“since i have watched your buzzing i have generated three leads today and 1 sale to Switzerland”

These messages are coming from business owners outside of our Polaris community. (of course Polaris distributors have had the info for a while and getting great results). It’s very exciting for me to hear of others also experiencing a boost in their inquiry and sales.

Incidently, it’s been only 90 days since BuzzZing was launched to Polaris Distributors and our sales have increased by a whopping 58%!! Congratulations to everyone for taking action on the teachings. The great news is….we are just getting started!!!

I have just re-listened to Shane’s Visionary Call from Tuesday last week (3rd August) & WOW what a call it was… (listen again now before it gets deleted tomorrow morning)!

Many many things I’ve learned from that call & a million notes that I’ve written, but the biggest thing for me is about sharing my vision…

So, here goes…

I’ve managed to get very clear on my vision. This is important. My Vision is to assist as many people as possible reach the level of success they truly desire. At first I thought my vision was to have the best performing team in the company, but it’s not, because my vision is not about ownership, it’s about contribution & making a wide spread impact. This is something we all have not only the opportunity to do here, but the ability to, because we are all on the same team.

So, firstly I’ve set out to “make an example of myself” – in a good way! As most of you will now be aware, I’ve got my electric bicycle & I’m delivering 5000 flyers in letterboxes every week. There, I’ve said it. Now watch me do it! It’s not easy, but it sure is a lot of fun! The reason I’m sharing this with you is because I’ve recently come to the realisation of what is truly possible here, and what we really CAN do. It has been done before, and it can be done again. I remember in my early days here I learned about this principle:
Success requires Action
Action requires Motivation
Motivation requires Belief
Belief requires Proof – find the proof of what you believe in so that you know it can be achieved.

If you haven’t done or redone your 90 day plan recently, I encourage you to do it. And then stick to it. Call another Leader within the Company to walk you through it if you need to or share it with someone else if you want someone to hold you accountable.

Secondly I am Playing To Win! This is not a competition, it’s just my game. You make your game whatever you want it to be. Figure out what motivates you. What ingredients do you need to bake the perfect cake of your dream lifestyle…? Put it all together & just watch what happens when you put that cake in to bake… You can’t miss out 1 ingredient or put in the wrong measurements & expect the cake to turn out. I love Rachel’s Blog on the Corporate Blog page about this topic – she talks about letting herself off the hook a little bit in her early days – not doing absolutely everything she could to have success so that she had an excuse as to why she didn’t succeed. I’ve fallen into that trap in the past too. If you’re looking for excuses why not to succeed you might as well quit & stop wasting your own time. Make a Decision as to whether you want success or not, then go out & get it!

Thirdly, I am being ME. Yep, I’m a Mum, I’m a Wife & I’m a Business Woman. We all play many roles throughout the day & I’m doing the best I possibly can at each one. One at a Time. The best way I’ve found that I can do this is by just being Me. Doing things the way that MY Future Self would do them. Because I am my Future Self from many years ago, I am being a lot like the person I thought I would be, I am doing some of those things that I intended to do & I do have a lot of the things I thought I would, but there’s still a lot more ahead of me, along the way I’m still me. Get to know yourself & then just be yourself.

So, back to my Vision… To assist as many people as possible reach the level of success they truly desire.

What Level of Success are you aiming for? What are you doing to achieve it? Are you putting yourself in the best possible position to play your game to WIN?! Are you doing everything possible to achieve that goal?

Every thought vibrates, every thought radiates at a specific signal and every thought attracts a matching signal back. This is the Law Of Attraction.

A great demonstration of this would be – lets say you turn on the radio and you have the station set at 105.1, you would not expect to pick up the music being transmitted from the frequency of say 98.1. You understand that the radio vibrational frequency must match – and the law of attraction works the same way.
The vibrational thoughts that we have, always match what we are attracting.

If there is something that you want – that you desire – you need only put your attention to it and by the law of attraction it will come to you. Now here’s the key – if there’s something that you DO NOT want…lets say “I just don’t want to be in debt anymore” – and if you put your focus on this “getting out of debt as an example”- the universe will simply pick up the vibration of “debt” and deliver more debt to you.

This is why its so important to be conscious of what it is that you are thinking. Whatever we think about we bring about – whether we want it or not. There was a time in my life when I was in major financial difficulty and I learnt to replace my thoughts of worrying about the debt with thoughts of abundance and wealth. I simply made a conscious decision to change my thinking. Affirmations and visualisation are two great tools in which to assist in harnessing the powerful law of attraction.

Catch Me If You Can

I’m reading a book at the moment called “Catch Me If You Can”. It’s the true story of Frank Abagnale, one of the most daring con men, forges, imposters and escape artists in history. In his notorious criminal career he cashed US$2.5 Million in forged cheques, practised law without a license, practised as a doctor without a degree or license, donned a pilot’s uniform and co-piloted a Pan Am jet, posed as a college professor even though he was a high school drop out, and managed to outwit the police of 26 countries and every US state, all before he turned twenty-one. You may have seen the movie staring Leonardo Dicaprio and Tom Hanks?

There’s a part in the book where he’s describing one of the many times Abagnale walked into a bank to cash a forged cheque. He admits that the forged job wasn’t too great. Many flaws to the cheque which could have been easily picked up by the teller had they but simply took the time to observe. It was his confidence that carried him through. To quote a small section of the book: “the transaction also verified a suspicion I had long entertained; it’s not how good a cheque looks but how good the person behind the cheque looks that influences tellers and cashiers”.

This got me thinking about a person having success in a business such as Polaris Global. It’s not the quality of the opportunity that will create a persons results. It is in who the person is BEING when they present that opportunity to their customers and prospects that gets results. Our customers and prospects look at the quality of the opportunity through our eyes. If we have confidence, if we have belief, if we come to a place of “knowing” that the service we provide is one of tremendous value and opportunity then others will “feel” this and also come to this place of belief and knowing.
